Post 2-Hand Flesher
Post 1-Hand Scrapper
$62.95 - Temporarily Sold Out
Hand made Canadian Knives by Ron Post.
Such a great addition to your fur shed and ready for a lifetime of skinning.
Post 2-Hand Fleshers
This is simply the finest fleshing tool available to the trapper today. The forehand blade is razor sharp and just takes all the work out of fleshing while the back blade, the pushing blade has just the right amount of sharpness so you can push the fat but yet can still flesh when needed. I just would be lost with out mine, even thought about buying two just in case something might happen to my main knife. Enjoy yours for a life time!! Outside cutting edge 10”
Post 1-Hand Scrapper
This is a very versatile tool in any fur shed, I use mine for my muskrats, on the mink beam, rolling that fat off my fox legs and bellies. After you get the pelt on the board its great for cleaning things up too. Don’t let the size fool you, this scrapper is sharp on both sides and can do what ever you want it to do. Same “Post” quality, built for a life time.
Just a great Skinning tool, small enough for Muskrats, mink even a weasel but it can also get in there and do the big predators too! Razor sharp from Ron Post’s knife shop and will hold that edge a long time. Very trapper friendly and by this I mean you don’t need to go to a sharpening shop every time it needs a hone. Also comes with a leather sheath. Blade length 2 1/4” Overall 6 1/4”
Personal preference here as far as knife blade length. Same great feature’s as the mini- Pelter just a little longer blade. Same great Post knife blade and handle and also comes with a leather sheath. Blade Length 2 3/4” Overall 6 3/4
This is my favorite skinning knife. What a great knife and just feels so good in your hand. Keep that good “Post” edge off those head bones and it just keeps on going. Such a great knife and the price for a hand made knife , its just pretty darn hard to beat. Comes with a hand made leather sheath also. Blade length 3 1/2” Overall 7 1/2
Note - Both these Post knives are just super pieces of equipment. I use the scrapper on my muskrat, mink and fox. The 2-hand is the best fleshing tool made, period. Use this on a few beaver and you will understand. Also see Post Knives.
Post Large Round Nose (beaver)
Small Predator / Beaver Skinner
Large Beaver Skinner

Havalon Piranta-EDGE Knife
Features a 2¾ stainless steel replaceable blades and an easy-grip black rubber inlays on the handle. Also has an open back which allows for easy cleaning. Has a removable pocket clip and 12 additional blades. Also comes with its own black nylon belt holster. you are purchasing a high quality knife that is probably sharper than any knife you have used before, enjoy but also be very careful.
**Coon Creek Note- We have been using this knife here in our skinning and it just continues to shine. Like it a lot around the head, is really good for those opening cuts and for starting a beaver it has no second.
Post Small Beaver Skinner
This drop point knife is just one fine piece of skinning equipment. I bone out quite a few deer to feed the fox and this is the knife I like, also, when I just want to get a beaver pelt off the carcass this is the knife I want. All the great Post knife qualities , the great edge, smooth hard wood finished handle and its own leather case. Definitely won’t be disappointed with this knife.
Post Small Beaver Skinner
Dexter Sharpening Steel, $31.95
At 12” this is the steel we use and just does a great job. You can also touch up a serrated edge. Just works great for putting a like new edge back on your Post 2-Hand Flesher. Just a few swipes on the cutting edge and your flesher is ready for another pile of pelts. Will sharpen any edge.
Post Small Round Nose, 59.95
This is the my Beaver knife. I like to clean skin the belly and around the leg holes. Then as much of the back as I can before I switch to the small skinner and finish the job. The hardwood handle and the leather sheath all come standard on Post Knives.
Post Small Round Nose (beaver)
Post Large Round Nose, 64.95
The Large round nose is really the standard size beaver knife used for clean skinning. I have usd both these knives and they are super for that job, clean skinning. The Large Round Nose has a super cut to the head of the blade and its just at home shaving that fat off your pelt. They stay sharp a long long time if you keep them off the bones but with all POST kinves they are so Trapper friendly you can get that razor edge back on with out taking them to a sharping shop. Blade leanth is 4" X 1 1/4'. The handle is 3 7/8" giving you about and 8" knife. Comes with an all leather snap close case.
One Hand Scrapper, 64.95
This tool could be found in fur sheds back in the 1920's and 30's. Definitely found its home scrapping muskrats but can also do mink with ease and under the arm pits and leg holes on about any critter. comes with a decent edge and can easily be sharpened to whatever point you like.
