They lock up great on the trap spring/spring pin and are long enough you can use a foot, or my favorite, your forearm so you have a free working hand to set.  Heavy duty, 3/8 round stock these are made to withstand years of service.  Here is a partial list of traps it fits:  MB 650, MB 500, Duke #4 square jaw 4-coil, Duke #2 square jaw, etc.

Comes standard with a D handle.  The wide blade makes digging your pockets very easy.  The long handle will keep you up out of the mud and water, and also works great for helping you stay on your feet as you climb creek banks, and wade those slippery creek bottoms.  I know it's saved me many a time from a wet bottom.  It's 37" from the top of the D handle to the point of the trowel.  It's a great tool, and an excellent bargain.
